Juicy Couture Bag - Can you spot the difference?

I came across to an article stating ways to spot a fake Juicy Couture bag on eBay. And here's how (all pics on the left side are fake):

Baby Fluffy Bags

Fake one uses the wrong metal chain, real one uses silver color hardware instead of gold tone. Check the pompom. The pompom of the real juicy bag has a darker shade of purple.

Check inside material of the bag. All real Juicy Fluffy bags use the matching color inside the bag. In other words, a purple Fluffy will have purple interior, and a green Fluffy will have green interior.

Check the heart shape 'J' mirror. The fake one has well defined 'J'. Also, the 'Hello' pocket should be silver, which matches the silver chain outside, instead of gold.

Check the leather strip that attaches the mirror. All the real Juicy bags have the letters pressed into the leather instead of printing on.

Day Dreamer Bags

Take a look at the handles. The real Day Dreamer has dark borders around the handles and made with real leather. The fake one does not have dark borders and made with PVC plastic (wrapped with clear plastic is another warning sign).

Look at the magnetic closure, the real one has really nice thick leather and good stitching that covers the metal. The fake one has bare metal and some don't even use magnets (and it is covered).

Fake one has letters printed on the 'leather' strip, the real Juicy bag has the letters pressed into the leather strip.

Now, can you spot the difference?

IPOD…no more

I’d been thinking for weeks whether I should buy an IPOD or not. In the end, my techie side prevailed. I searched the internet for an ipod…I checked cnet, local online stores, and my last stop is ebay.

I got surprised of how cheap the IPOD Classic 160GB! The range is from 12,800 – 14,000. And then alas! I saw an IPOD Classic 160GB for only 10K! Brand new, complete with manuals and apple warranty, and free shipping. I exclaimed “wow, that’s a great deal!”

After a week of talking to the seller, I paid him thru gcash for 10K. And after two weeks, I still don’t have MY IPOD. I got scammed…big time! I did an investigative work by contacting the people who left feedbacks under his account and got different information about this guy. Some says he’s from Baguio, Batangas, and as far as Davao!

What now? I don’t have my ipod and the guy is still on the loose…and now, I am flooding forums of this guy to warn other online buyers. These are the information I got about the scammer:

Ebay id : Jabawookies
Gcash account: 09266957157
Brian C. Mendoza
#147 G. Luna St., Sabang Lipa City
Batangas

Ebay account information:
Jayvee Morales
130 Arellano St. Sta Cruz
Laguna

People, beware of scammers!

The Art of Waiting

As I went over my past journals and letters, I retrieved this poem given by my college friend. I want to share this to you especially to ALL SINGLE (and NOT SO-SINGLE) PEOPLE. CHEERS!

Why Wait?

Because although we want to be decisive,
We do not want to be impulsive.
Although we want to be swift,
We do not want to be hasty.
Although we want to hold on to the one we love,
We do not want to lose ourselves in the process.

If we want to run,
We must learn first learn to walk.
If we want to swim,
We must first learn to float.
If we want to make love,
We must first learn to love.
In the end, it is still best to wait for the one we want
Rather than settle for the one that is available.

It is still best to wait for the one you love
Rather than settle for the one who is around.

It is still best to wait for the right person
Because life is too short to waste on the wrong one.
Because waiting serves a purpose.
Noble yet mysterious,
You have to know that flowers do not bloom overnight,
Rome was not built in a day,
A life grows in the womb for nine months,
Great love grows steadily over a lifetime.
Most good things in life take a long time,
And they are all worth-living for.
These, despite the fact,
That although waiting requires a lot of things…
Faith, Courage and Hope…
Waiting guarantees nothing,
One cannot imagine, after all,
God in all His wisdom,
Asks us to wait, for no essential reason.

My First Blog

This is my first blog! After so many years surfing the internet, I have decided to join the world of "blogging". Well, if you cannot beat them...join them. :)

According to wikipedia, "A blog is a website, usually maintained by an individual, with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog."

Hmmm I hope blogging is easy...like sleeping. Anyway, WELCOME TO MY BLOG!
